The mission of the Center for Civic Participation (CCP) is to increase civic engagement by individuals and organizations in ways that strengthen our democratic institutions and encourage public involvement in civic life. CCP works to maximize the impact of non-profit, community-based organizations working to improve civic participation through voter registration, education and mobilization campaigns.

CCP’s long-term goal is creating and sustaining a pro-democracy movement in the United States with the energy and momentum needed to be successful. We make sure this movement has adequate financial resources combined with strong leadership. To this end, we connect non-partisan groups with the training, legal and technical assistance, new technology, money and other resources needed to be as effective as possible.
