WHAT'S NEW

Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN)

The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) hosts the 501c3 voter participation coordination meetings with PLAN member groups in Nevada. The coordinated effort is called "PLAN2Vote." PLAN is also coordinating with non-member groups, such as the New Voters Project, on voter registration, education and GOTV in Las Vegas and Reno. PLAN staff work with member groups to reach their goals, and conducts outreach to other non-partisan voter mobilization efforts. The PLAN2Vote Coalition has a combined total goal that exceeds 30,000 new registrants.

Participating groups include:

Nevada Women's Lobby, Nevada Young Activist Project, PLAN citizenship ProgramNew Voter's Project, Sierra Club, AFL-CIO, State of Nevada NAACP, State of Nevada Employees Association, Citizen Alert, Friends of Nevada Wilderness, HERE Local 86, LAPE, NASW, Nevada Conservation League, People of COlor Caucus/RJC, Planned Parenthood, Reno-Sparks NAACP, Laborers Union 169, LULAC, GLBTQ Spectrum, Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, Nevada Association of Social Workers Sunrise Sustainable Resources Group, PLAN Sierra Club, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Las Vegas New Voter's Project(not a formal member but sharing office space in Reno and Las Vegas with PLAN and coordinating voter registration, education and GOTV efforts with them.)
